There will be Youth Activities at 40 Year! Games, A&S DIsplays, Classes, stories and a scavenger hunt that explores Caid’s rich history and the arts and more! There will be something for all ages! As a reminder, all youth under 7 MUST be accompanied by a parent, per Society Law. Youth 8 – 10 must be within sight and sound of activity.
Children’s A&S Competition/Display on Sat at 40 year in the History Hall. The cut off on entry’s will be noon. The entry’s will get a number and I will keep the names.

Royals will be announcing the winners in the history hall at the children’s A&S table at 3 pm. Prizes for the winners.
Youth Point:Youth point will be open starting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. There will be free activities in the morning – illuminated letters to color, games, Caidan twister, and others. At 1:30, there will be a class on Embroidery with Lady Sorcha; and Weaving with Mistress Adelicia of Caithness at 2:30. At 3:30 will be story time with Master David.
Outside of Youth Point, Master Rebecca will have a make and take pennant at her booth in the Arts Village which children are welcome to come to. Thrown Weapons is having a Youth Competition that is being run at the same time as the adult ones, so please refer to the Thrown Weapons entries on the main event schedule.
Scavenger Hunt: There will be a scavenger hunt that will take youth around Caid, from the Artisan Village to the History Hall to the Tourney field. Youth can pick up the Scavenger hunt starting at 9, and turn it in Sunday. For those who will not be onsite Sunday, I will leave an email address to email it to me. The deadline to bring back scavenger hunts on Sunday is 4 pm and can return them to the Darach encampment, which will be near Isles.
